POM (polyoxymethylene resin) is a linear polymer with no side chains, high density and high crystallinity. According to the different characteristics of the molecular chain chemical structure, POM can be divided into homopolymer and copolymer.
- Homopolymer has high density, crystallinity, and melting point, but has poor thermal stability, a narrow processing temperature range (about 10 degrees), and slightly lower stability to acids and alkalis.
- Copolymer formaldehyde has low density, crystallinity, melting point, and strength, but has good thermal stability, is not easy to decompose, has a wide processing temperature range (about 50 degrees), and has good acid and alkali stability.
