SABIC® FORTIFY™ C1055D Polyolefin Elastomer (POE) Impact Modifier For PP/PE Toughening

SABIC C1055D is an ethylene-octene copolymer that serves as a high-performance, low-density modifier. It features excellent impact properties and high fluidity, with a density of 857 kg/m³ and a melt flow index of 1.0 g/10 min. Widely used for toughening PP and PE as well as in wire and cable extrusion, it offers superior elasticity and ease of processing.

• Excellent toughening effect: As a copolymer modifier, it significantly enhances the impact resistance of base materials such as PP and PE while maintaining good flow characteristics.
• Good processing performance: Designed as free-flowing granules suitable for processes like injection molding, extrusion, and fiber drawing; treated to prevent caking and reduce the risk of clogging.
• Weather and chemical resistance: Offers good resistance to aging and chemical corrosion, making it suitable for outdoor use and demanding environments.
• Environmental compliance: Free of phthalate plasticizers and compliant with environmental standards such as RoHS and REACH; however, it is not suitable for direct-contact medical or pharmaceutical applications.

• Polymer Modification: Widely used as a toughening agent and compatibilizer for polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and EVA.
