PET is divided into fiber grade PET and non fiber grade PET. Among them, non fiber grade polyester is widely used in packaging industry, electronic appliances, medical and health care, construction, automotive and other fields, as well as in bottle and film applications. According to viscosity, it can be divided into water bottle grade (viscosity 0.80), oil bottle grade (viscosity 0.83), hot filling (viscosity 0.78), and carbonated beverage bottle (viscosity 0.87).
PET resin strength
(1) PET resin as good mechanical properties, with an impact strength 3-5 times that of other films and good flexural resistance; Resistant to oil, fat, oleic acid, dilute alkali, and most solvents;
(2) The heat resistance of pure PET is not high, with a heat deformation temperature of only about 85 ℃, but it is significantly improved after reinforcement treatment. The mechanical properties of PET reinforced with fiberglass are similar to engineering plastics such as PC and PA, and the thermal deformation temperature can reach 225 ℃;
(3) Good heat aging resistance, with a brittleness temperature of -70 ℃ and a certain toughness even at -30 ℃; Low gas and water vapor permeability, excellent gas barrier, water, oil and odor resistance;
(4) High transparency, can block ultraviolet rays, and has good luster; Non toxic, odorless, with good hygiene and safety, it can be directly used for food packaging.
