1. Light weight

2. High strength, good elasticity, wear resistance and corrosion resistance
Polypropylene has high strength (the same in dry and wet states), which is an ideal material for the manufacture of fishing nets and cables; Good wear resistance and resilience, similar strength to polyester and nylon, rebound rate comparable to nylon and wool, much larger than polyester and viscose fiber; The dimensional stability of polypropylene is poor, easy to pilling and deformation, anti-microbial, and mothless; Chemical resistance is better than general fibers.

3. It has electrical insulation and warmth
Polypropylene fiber has high resistivity (7×1019Ω.cm), small thermal conductivity, compared with other chemical fibers, polypropylene electrical insulation and warmth ^ good, but easy to generate static electricity during processing.

4. Poor heat resistance and aging resistance
The melting point of polypropylene fiber is low (165~173 °C), and the stability of light and heat is poor, so the heat resistance and aging resistance of polypropylene are poor, and it is not resistant to ironing. However, its anti-aging properties can be improved by adding anti-aging agents at the time of spinning.

5. Poor hygroscopicity and dyeability
The hygroscopicity and dyeability of polypropylene fiber are ^ poor in chemical fibers, almost not hygroscopic, and its moisture regain rate is less than 0.03%. Fine denier polypropylene has a strong wicking effect, and water vapor can be eliminated through the capillary tube in the fiber. After making clothing, the comfort of clothing is better, especially ultra-fine polypropylene fiber, due to the increase in surface area, it can transfer sweat faster and keep the skin comfortable. Because the fiber does not absorb moisture and has a small shrinkage rate, polypropylene fabric has the characteristics of easy washing and quick drying.
