Sinopec Baling SBS is a styrene-butadiene block copolymer in the form of white porous particle or powder, with advantages of elasticity of rubber and workability of plastics, also with good low-temperature resistance, good air permeability and wet skid resistance.

SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene Block Copolymer), with butadiene as the comonomer, offers high strength and is easily processed.

SBS is optimal for bitumen modification, TPV manufacturing, plastic compounding and impact modification.

Footwear Industry

Shoe soles made with SBS instead of polyvinyl chloride have good elasticity (small deformation under stress or residual deformation), beautiful colors, and excellent anti-slip properties, breathability, wear resistance, low-temperature resistance, and flexural resistance. They are odorless and comfortable to wear, and have a high coefficient of friction on asphalt, wet, and snowy surfaces.

Asphalt Modification

SBS 791H can be used in road asphalt modification. It can extend its service life and is suitable for bridge decks and road applications.

Adhesives

It can be used in the production of shoe adhesives, tape adhesives, adhesives for disposable hygiene products, and pressure-sensitive adhesives.
