QAPCO HDPE TR131 is a high-density polyethylene resin designed specifically for film extrusion applications. It is manufactured by Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO).
Properties:
HDPE has excellent mechanical strength, high stiffness and toughness, strong chemical stability, and exceptional resistance to heat and cold. Additionally good are the dielectric qualities and resistance to environmental stress cracking. In comparison to low-density polyethylene, it has superior hardness, tensile strength, and creep qualities; it also has slightly lower wear resistance, electrical insulation, toughness, and cold resistance; and at room temperature, it has good chemical stability. Under specific circumstances, the film exhibits low permeability to water vapor and air, low water absorption, and is insoluble in any organic solvent. It is also resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis, and different salts.
Applications:
Produce bags: It is also used in the production of shrink films and the packaging of beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other products.
Shopping bags: Widely used in the production of packaging bags and other packaging films
Trash bags: Plastic bags for household waste disposal.
