ABS 750A is a type of plastic resin that belongs to the Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) family. It is a general-purpose grade of ABS resin that is widely used in various industrial applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and easy processability.
Production Process
ABS resin is mainly made of butadiene, styrene, and acrylonitrile monomers. The synthesis mainly includes two parts: ABS powder preparation and SAN resin preparation. The prepared ABS powder, SAN granules and additives are blended in a certain proportion, extruded and granulated to make ABS resin products.
At present, the production method of Kunlun brand ABS resin ABS 750A adopts the emulsion grafting-bulk SAN blending process, which is the most important method in the field of ABS production technology, and has successfully realized the two-step method from the one-step PB polymerization. The PB polymerization conversion rate is above 98%, which is the highest conversion rate among industrially applied technologies. The butadiene recovery unit is reduced in the process, the process flow is shortened, and the energy consumption and construction investment of the device are reduced.
Application
In terms of automobiles, ABS 750A can be used for small parts such as steering wheels, oil guide pipes, handles and buttons in automobiles, and front radiator grilles and lights outside automobiles. Because of its smooth surface, good impact resistance, high temperature resistance and good processability, it is more competitive with other resins. In terms of daily appliances, there are large and small applications.
Large ones include refrigerators, freezers, food boxes, etc.; small appliances, such as vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, sewing machine covers, indoor air conditioners, humidifiers, etc.
In terms of electronics and (or) electrical appliances, applications include various office and consumer electronics and (or) electrical appliances, and office appliances include electronic data processing machines and office equipment.
In terms of building materials, extruded sheets are used for sanitary appliances, such as bath tubs, swimming pool linings, etc.; in addition, injection-molded pipes and fittings, and a small amount of extruded telephone cables are produced.
